In 1973, David Bowie held a star-studded retirement party for his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, at London’s illustrious Café Royal. This month, Hotel Café Royal, the celebrity haunt’s modern reincarnation, is debuting a new bar in honor of the British pop icon.

Ziggy’s will open on Sept. 20, adjacent to the hotel’s newly opened restaurant, Laurent. The bar will offer a range of classic and modern cocktails inspired by Bowie’s life—and favorite drinks—developed in collaboration with the hotel’s bars and beverages manager Fabio Spinetti, formerly of The Connaught.
