Shen Yun has its base in New York, and aims to revive genuine traditional Chinese culture after decades of suppression by the communist regime in China. Film Director Welcomes Shen Yun
Solveig Ternstrom, actress, script writer and film director speaks warmly of show. Since 2006, she is also a Member of Parliament. Together with fellow MP Eva Selin-Lindgren, she wrote in their welcome message to Shen Yun:
