How to Make Spiced Candied Pecans

Toast up these Spiced Candied Pecans for a crunchy and comforting way to welcome your guests this holiday season. They will disappear quickly, but are sure to leave a delicious lasting scent. It requires just four ingredients. 

Ingredients: 

  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup light brown sugar

Method: 

1. Start by adding the egg whites to a bowl. 

2. Then add 2 tbsp of water to the same bowl. 

3. Whisk both the egg white, and water together until it becomes frothy. 

4. Next, add 1 cup of light brown sugar, and 1/2 tsp of salt. 

5. Throw in the three cups of pecan halves into the above mixture. 

6. Then, coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. 

7. Next, spread the mixture evenly, and bake for about 25 minutes, until crisp. Stir every five minutes or so, an set aside to cool. 

Candied Pecans make a great gift idea for the holiday season.
