1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
You can make diagonal cuts about an inch apart just a little ways into the ham’s surface, cover it in a glaze, and put some cloves in the cuts for extra flavor (remove the cloves before eating).

2. Stick an oven-safe meat thermometer in, making sure it reaches the center, but doesn’t hit the bone. Cook until the ham reaches a temperature of 140 to 150 degrees F. Cooking time will vary depending on the size, so here’s a chart from Betty Crocker to give you an idea:
