‘The Last Stop in Yuma County’
Jim Cummings stars as a traveling salesman who stops at an Arizona rest stop for gas. However, things take a dark turn when bank robbers Beau (Richard Brake) and Travis (Nicholas Logan) take over the diner, taking everyone hostage.Although the film’s single location (probably for budgetary reasons) adds to the overall tension, there are some occasional pacing hiccups and shifts in focus. Despite that, it remains engaging and well-crafted, making for a compelling watch for fans of tightly woven narratives with a retro vibe.
