Author Robbie Arnott, an Australian originally from Launceston, Tasmania, is best known for his acclaimed novels “Flames,” “The Rain Heron,” and “Limberlost.” He’s already received several major literary award nominations and wins, both in Australia and internationally.

His latest novel, “Dusk,” starts with beautiful prose, captivating heroes, and haunting imagery on every page. Midway through, I was beginning to suspect that this might be one of the best reads I’ve come across this year.
