I fear that my oven thinks I may have abandoned her. It’s been too long since I’ve turned that dial to bake cakes or cookie treats. But just because I haven’t been baking, doesn’t mean I haven’t been whipping up sweet treats to share. I’ve been relying on no-bake desserts like layered delights, icebox cakes, and fluffs instead.
Chocolate chip cookie fluff is my latest party trick. For this recipe, all you have to do to enjoy this taste of childhood is fold mini chocolate chips and crunchy store-bought chocolate chip cookies into a sweetened whipped cream. It’s a 15-minute, no-bake recipe that is everything you love about dipping freshly baked cookies into a tall glass of milk, but so much easier than baking a batch of cookies.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Tastes just like milk and cookies. If you liked dipping chocolate chip cookies into a glass of milk, you’ll love digging into this chocolate chip cookie fluff. It’s packed with crunchy cookies and mini chocolate chips folded into a brown sugar-sweetened whipped cream.
  • It’s so easy to whip up. This no-bake recipe is sure to impress, and nobody needs to know how simple it is. If you have just 6 ingredients and 15 minutes, you can make this light and creamy fluff.

Key Ingredients in Chocolate Chip Cookie Fluff

  • Chocolate chip cookies: Crunchy chocolate chip cookies are the best choice for adding texture to this dessert. We tested with both Chips Ahoy and Tate’s Bake Shop cookies, so rest assured that store-bought cookies work well here.
  • Mini chocolate chips: Mix tiny chocolate chips into the whipped cream and sprinkle more on top.
  • Brown sugar: Using light or dark brown sugar to sweeten the whipped cream adds to the dessert’s signature chocolate chip cookie flavor.
  • Heavy cream: Start with cold heavy cream so that it quickly whips to firm peaks.
  • Marshmallow creme: Add marshmallow creme to stabilize the whipped cream and add marshmallow flavor to every bite.
