A 15-year-old boy who was caught on his little sister’s baby monitor tending to the toddler in the middle of the night is striking a chord with parents all over.

A clip of the attentive teen was first shared on TikTok in the month of March by his mom, Sidq Bushra, and has since been viewed over 15 million times. A time stamp on the clip lets viewers know that the teen devoted 30 minutes to his big brotherly duties, eventually lulling his baby sister to sleep.

In the footage, 15-year-old Wifaq, who goes by the name “Adam,” approaches his sobbing sister Revelle’s crib. It’s 1:20 a.m. and he mutters “Okay, okay,” before lifting her up for a cuddle.

In an attempt to put her back to sleep, Adam rocks the baby, sings to her, and plays gentle music. Needless to say, his kindness had the desired effect; the video ends with Revelle soothed, fast asleep in her crib.

The clip garnered 4 million reactions and tens of thousands of comments. Many commended Sidq for raising such a kind son; some commented that Adam would make a great dad himself one day.

“We have 4 boys and adopted our baby girl almost 2 years ago,” one parent and TikTok user commented. “They are all like little daddies, and I don’t make them, they just love her like that.”

While Adam’s love for his sister is clearly evident, Sidq’s 7-year-old son, Elaf, is not far in catching up with his brotherly duties.

Just weeks after Adam’s kindness was caught on camera, Revelle’s baby monitor captured Elaf comforting Revelle. Sidq again shared the heartwarming footage on TikTok, writing: “If you thought only one of her brothers adored her, you’re mistaken!”

In this footage, as Elaf enters the room, the baby coos excitedly. Elaf turns on the light and approaches her, bringing his face close to his sister to share a smile before lifting her out of her crib.

This second, no less adorable clip testifies to a brother’s love for his baby sister and truly embodies the statement that sibling bonds run deep.
