The latest addition to Alex Stupak Empellón mini-empire is Empellón Al Pastor, a bar and tortilleria where the spotlight shines on Stupak’s favorite taco, the al pastor.
“Our goal at Empellón al Pastor is the same as at our other restaurants,” said Stupak in a press release, “we treat tacos and Mexican cooking with a high level of respect and serve them in a fun environment.”
Stupak will make use of organic, non-GMO corn from Indiana for the tortillas.
Tacos include: Spit Roasted Pork & Pineapple (Al Pastor), Chicken & Tomatillo, Steak & Caramelized Onions, Potatoes & Red Chorizo, Mushrooms & Pasilla Chile, Vegetable Of The Day, and another daily special.
Margaritas, beers, tequilas, highballs, and micheladas round out the drinks menu.
