A 23-year-old Canadian woman drove her car straight into an Ontario bay earlier this week, after missing the right turn her GPS has instructed her to make.

She drove straight into a boat launch on Georgian Bay, and her vehicle became completely submerged, a local official told ABC News.

It was a “dark and stormy night,” the official said, which made it difficult to see what’s ahead.

Fortunately, the quick-thinking woman was able to roll down her car window before the power went out, and escaped from her car to swim to shore.
