JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—Divine Performing Arts played at the Times Union Performing Arts Center on Friday Dec. 26. The audience was delighted with the performance and the Chinese culture it portrayed.
The ancient Chinese believed their culture was a gift from the gods, and DPA brings that to life.
Ms. Jacobson, a French/Spanish high school teacher, truly liked it. “I’m taking a Chinese class right now, actually, so I really like the Chinese language—English at the same time. Just everything—the music, the dancing, the choreography, it’s all really great.”
Ms. Jacobson’s has always liked drums so naturally her favorite performance was, Dragon Springs Drums. “Everyone in sync all together. It is great!”
“A show that covers a wide range of Chinese culture in only a few hours. A little bit of everything—dancing, drums, good choreography, as well as the music, the singing, and the poetry ... everything all together in two hours. It was so good!” This is what Ms. Jacobson wants to tell her friends about the DPA venue she enjoyed so much.

We Learned a Lot About Chinese Culture
Mr. Bran, an Electronics engineer and project director for the Army, attended Friday night’s performance and thoroughly enjoyed it.
“We learned a lot about Chinese culture. It was excellent! We really enjoyed it.”
“All aspects of the show are choreographed and designed very well. Not only the scenery but the different topics that they treated are excellent. The music, the performance, the story, the singers, everything is excellent.”
