Barbara Stroh was in the kitchen while her husband Charlie Moore went outside to shovel snow in their driveway.

Moore, 68, exerted himself a lot--too much, in fact.

Stroh had moved to the living room--where Moore came into and promptly collapsed. He had a heart attack.

Stroh quickly dialed 911.

Deputy Andy Dillman rushed to the house and performed CPR since Moore didn’t have a pulse. And it worked.

“It’s one of those rare instances where [Dillman] being there at the right place at the right time. He was able to, it sounds like, save his life,” said Deputy Donny Springfield.

Not only did Dillman save the man’s life, he finished the snow shoveling job.

“We should be thanking them and they don’t get enough thanks,” Stroh said.
