Watch: Rescued Seals Dive Into the Ocean for First Time
A pair of twin grey seals that were returned to the wild after four months of care, were videotaped splashing in the ocean water for the first time.
The seals are the first recorded pair of grey seal twins in the world.
“It is amazing to think that we have helped to rear the world’s first recorded wild-born twin grey seals,” said Alison Charles, a manager for the Society.
The Royal Society in East Winch has taken care of 66 seal pups in its hospital this season, and currently 50 seals are in its care.
