The Kingdom of Thailand, or just regular Thailand to travellers, is one of the most visited places in the world. Historians believe that Thailand has been populated by humans for over 40,000 years, and its culture continues to remain heavily influenced by Indian roots and teachings. Stabilising as a democracy in late 1980s, Thailand has a prosperous political and cultural agenda, and thanks to the islands natural beauty, vastly benefits from international tourism. Much of the money generated from tourism is put back into the state education system, which is one of the best in the world.
