Top 10 Wackiest Dogs and Cats Names

If you thought celebrity baby names were a little out there, wait till you hear some of the wackiest pet names in the United States.

The nation’s oldest and leading pet health insurance company, Veterinary Pet Insurance Co., has put out what it believes to be the top 10 wackiest names for dogs and cats.

Company employees searched through their entire 470,000 pet database to compile the most unusual and quirky names.

Every wacky pet name has a story.

Pet owner Kevin Morgan said his dog Kanye East loves the spotlight and attention.

“He would just go nuts, he would get so excited, and there was something about the way he presented himself, like he was in charge, and all-knowing. It kind of reminded me of Kanye West,” said Morgan on the VPI Web site.

Owner of Clawed Monet, Faith Korey, said that she wanted an unique name for her cat.

“If you have a pet named Max or Sam, everybody’s got that name. A distinct name shows that you have gone through some trouble and really thought about what you want your cat to be named,” said Korey on the VPI Web site.
