TORONTO—David Foster and friends raised a miraculous $4.2 million for the David Foster Foundation on Dec. 5 at Toronto’s Allstream Centre.
Among the attendees were dignitaries, celebrities, musicians, athletes, and philanthropists. Award-winning musician David Foster hosted the event, with Laureen Harper, wife of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, acting as the honourary chair.
Guests were treated to a host of celebrity performances including The Tenors, Karl Wolf, Sinbad, Earth Wind and Fire, and Andrea Bocelli.
The David Foster Foundation raises funds to cover the non-medical expenses of families whose children are in need of life-saving organ transplants. It also raises awareness of the importance of organ registration in Canada. For more information, visit: www.davidfosterfoundation.com
