The Butterfly, Michael White’s New Tribeca Restaurant

A mid-century Wisconsin-style supper club just arrived in New York City on Tuesday. 

Michael White and Eben Freemen opened a new cocktail bar and restaurant, The Butterfly, in Tribeca this week. 

Freeman has designed classic cocktails such as The Grasshopper and Brandy Old Fashioned.  

The restaurant will serve savory dishes including Reuben croquettes, vegetable pot pie, Coca-Cola ice cream and fried chicken, according to Grub Street. 

Food is cooked by Marea executive chef Jared Gadbaw and former Marea sous chef Charles Lutka.
