NEW YORK—Artist Marta Maria attended the Lincoln Center debut of Shen Yun Performing Arts on Thursday night, Jan. 6, her first time seeing the production, but not her last she says.
“I’ve heard wonderful things about it and I was amazed,” said Ms. Maria. “It was certainly unique and different, but my expectations were exceeded. I knew I would enjoy it, but I loved it. So it was wonderful!”
As an artist, Ms. Maria says she was particularly impressed with the use of color and the costume design.
“The artistry was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed every minute,” she said.
Ms. Maria intends to come to the next New York performance and bring her friends along too.

New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts will perform at the Lincoln Center, David H. Koch Theater, through Jan. 16. For more information visit ShenYunPerformingArts.org
