KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—Mr. Tsai Ting-Pang, the president of Fong Kuo Fishery Co., Ltd., was in the audience at Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s second show in Kaohsiung on April 6, together with his wife, Mrs. Tsai Lo Yueh-Mei. Mr. Tsai said, “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance for me to watch such a splendid performance.”
The gray-haired Mr. Tsai stood out in the audience. It was his first time seeing Shen Yun, and he said with his unique low voice, “Every program is very impressive, especially the excellent coordination between the dynamic backdrops and the live stage performance.”
His wife said how she appreciated the show, and that every movement was full of beauty. Referring to the program Herding on The Grasslands, she noted, “It’s so wonderful! The horse-riding dance looked like it would be difficult to perform. That’s why I find it so admirable.”
Mrs. Tsai-Lo also enjoyed the costumes and beauty of the female dancers. She said, “The costumes are all so beautiful! Every female dancer is also beautiful. Their figures are perfect and the movements elegant and graceful. It’s really outstanding.” Mr. Tsai shared the same feeling as his wife, and added, “It seems that the costumes are all the same size; every female dancer can fit right into them, and their stature and faces all look identical. It’s outstanding.”
He said he was particularly touched by the lyrics of the songs sung by the solo vocalists. “The inner contents of the songs are very good; every single program is splendid,” he said.
Mr. Tsai Ting-Pang started working in the family fishery business after his military service. At the age of 60, he sought to advance his studies and finished an EMBA at the National Sun Yat-Sen University. He acted in the KMT National Assembly as the Chair of Purse Seine Operation Committee under the Taiwan Tuna Association. With his extensive experience in the marine industry, he maintained close relationship with the public and private sectors of all countries in the southern Pacific.
