The 19th Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) is now accepting registrations for 2011, according to an official press release.
One of the most vibrant book fairs in Asia, the TIBE is an annual event that is intensely interesting to international publishers who wish to enter the Asian market. Publishers can arrange rights trading and on-site sales. The event is also a great opportunity for readers to find new books.
Later year´s book exhibition had more than 520,000 visitors to more than 500 cultural events. A total of 507 publishing houses from 58 countries presented their books.
TIBE 2011 will host events for publishing professionals including an Asian Publishing Forum, Digital Publishing Forum, Librarian’s Workshop, Childrens’ Literature Forum, Book Design Forum, Editor’s Workshop, and Translator’s Workshop.
Registration must be received by October 30, 2010.
