TAICHUNG, Taiwan---Cordially invited by close friends, Deputy Mayor of Taichung City Lin Ling-san appreciated the artistic feast presented by Shen Yun Performing Arts World Company at the Taichung Zhongshan Hall on the evening of April 6, 2016.
Seeing Shen Yun show for the first time, Mr. Lin was fascinated by Shen Yun’s exquisite performance as well as its performers’ professionalism. He was especially impressed with the dance dramas depicting the virtue of compassion and expressed that the performance is educational because it can rectify the money-oriented culture nowadays.
“This is a high class artistic performance, and it is truly worth appreciating,” he praised.
According to Shen Yun official Website, “With state-of-the-art graphics technology, Shen Yun’s digital-backdrop team creates vividly animated settings, extending the stage and transporting the audience to a world where heaven and earth are one.”
The digital animated backdrops impressed Mr. Lin very much. “The animated backdrop is very creative. It is worth letting the city government employees learn from. I hope we can have more opportunities to learn [from Shen Yun], in terms of cultural creative technology.”
Having long heard of Shen Yun due to its popularity, he was very happy to have the opportunity to appreciate Shen Yun today. “This is indeed a magnificent artistic performance,” he noted. “It is very touching. I really admire all the dancers for their superb performance.”
“Shen Yun performers’ dancing skills are truly exquisite. They must have spent a lot of time practicing, so that they are able to exhibit such a high degree of professionalism,” He added, “Such a high level of dedicated professionalism is few and far between among artists nowadays.”
“I hope that Shen Yun’s artistic performance can be widely spread in the Chinese society, so that the great achievement can be shared with all the Chinese people,” he said.
Lin Ling-san was the Minister of Transportation and Communications of Taiwan from 2002 to 2006, and he has been Deputy Mayor of Taichung City since December 2014.
