PARIS—The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour performing at the Palais des Congrès de Paris on Saturday, Feb. 28 was loudly applauded by the audience members, who were appreciative of the Company’s unique portrayal of Chinese traditional culture.

New York-based DPA is seeking to revive China’s traditional culture and present it to audiences around the world through Chinese classical dance and music.

Mr. Bourguelat, President of the Tai Chi Association, came to the performance with a group of friends, who all loved what they saw and heard.

“We came in a group and we all really liked it a lot. The singer [soprano] is really good,” he said.

Ms. Frunzi Crouzet, a textile and fashion designer living in Paris and in the United States, also practises Tai Chi and qigong.

She knew about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and felt the messages in the performances were very moving. “I know about Falun Dafa, [I] found it very interesting, also the message of Falun Dafa.” She and her friends “enjoyed it a lot.

“The show is so beautiful. We think more people should come to see the show!

“Everything was good. I enjoyed every detail, the costumes, the dances and the music,” Ms. Crouzet said.

Ms. Bellam, an artist, sculptor and teacher, also practises both Tai Chi and qigong, and also thought highly of the performance. “It was very good as a whole. It was magnificent!” she said.

This was the second DPA performance of the DPA 2009 World Tour at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. DPA finishes its four show run in Paris on March 1 and then travels to London for seven performance from March 3–7 before returning to Europe for more performances on the continent.
