“It is just magical, very beautiful. The colors. It is just, just very, very well done. I like the screen interaction, with the images coming off the screen to the dancers—that’s fun. It is interesting visually.”

“It is just a very beautiful score. And the adaptations of the themes, musically, are beautiful. I think the Chinese scale, is very prevalent in all of the music. That is a certain pentatonic series of notes, that’s very common to the Chinese music. It is so well-done. And there are a few instruments to the right, in the pit, that are the authentic Chinese instruments. I wish I knew the name of it, making that beautiful sound, that sounds like a singer, it almost sounds like an opera singer.”

“It is a bit of fantasy, isn’t it? … I am sure it is real spiritual principles, or thoughts, or that they are conveying, but it has a little bit of fantasy about it, too. With all of the beings in the sky and the ... Ethereal. But it is beautiful. Very beautiful.”
