BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—Silvia Bazán, Argentinian national radio announcer, was struck by the “absolute beauty” of Shen Yun Performing Arts on April 18 at Teatro Ópera.

Ms. Bazán was visibly moved by the message of divine inspiration conveyed by Shen Yun through classical Chinese dance and the music.

“I was really struck by everything that is divine.” Ms. Bazán said, “It’s God communicating with man and all of creation. It was the divine peace that comes from above, which is the deepest thing [that] every human being deserves to receive.”

Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts is the world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company. The company says it is on a mission to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture, touring annually with all-new choreography to over 200 cities to share the beauty of “China before communism.”

Ms. Bazán said she was completely captivated by the performance from start to finish. She said, “You finish watching the first part, and then you want to see more, and more, and more, and more. And finally, you feel fulfilled.”

Shen Yun in Chinese means “the beauty of divine beings dancing.” Ms. Bazán felt that she resonated with the divinity. She tried to describe what it was like, “I was really excited, really happy because ... I don’t know how to explain the emotion ... it’s all spectacular but at the same time, it’s all a form of spiritual communication.”

She continued to say that no words can describe that feeling. “When it’s something spiritual, you change on the inside. And you don’t really have the words to describe it. But it’s beautiful.”

The ancient Chinese believed that culture was passed down to man from the divine. Through dance and music, Shen Yun is bringing 5,000 years of Chinese culture alive on stage. Whether it is a legend from a thousand years ago or a story that takes place in modern-day China, audience members feel inspired and moved.

Ms. Bazán was deeply moved. “I feel like crying because it really touches you, doesn’t it? I’m leaving feeling inspired, at peace, and joyful.”

“It’s impactful. It’s moving. I’m leaving feeling moved after seeing this … absolutely beautiful show,” she said.

Shen Yun was founded in New York in 2006, so this year is their 20th anniversary. Ms. Bazán gave her best wishes to Shen Yun and its performers.

“Many blessings to all of you! Don’t give up,” she said. “We live in a world that’s very turbulent, but beyond all that is the power of God, is peace. ... What you’ve shown on stage, you’re amazing!”

Finally, Ms. Bazán encouraged everyone to get tickets to see Shen Yun. “Everyone has to watch it and see for themselves,” she said. “It’s personal.”
