STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Ms. Hedberg, an actress, who is also the director of the Dur & Moll Theater in Stockholm, attended the Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour on Wednesday evening, March 18, at the Cirkus Theater with her fiancee Mr. Petterson.

Ms. Hedberg created the picturesque Dur & Moll Theater 11 years ago. Her theater is connected to the Cirkus Theater, because an antique curtain from the Cirkus which was given to her theater as a gift.

Ms. Hedberg has created unique cultural-historical theater, narrating the Swedes life during the 18th and 19th centuries. “I work with masks and stage theater narrating the old history of Stockholm,” said Ms. Hedberg.

After the Shen Yun show, The Epoch Times met her just as she was leaving the theater.

Ms. Hedberg, like many other Swedes, was fond of the erhu virtuoso Ms. Xiaochun’s performance.

“The lady who played the ancient instrument was fantastic, and all the colors were fantastic”, said Ms. Hedberg.

The erhu is a two-stringed Chinese instrument known for its melancholic and hauntingly beautiful sound.

Mr. Pettersson is the CEO of an electronics and telecommunications company. He has previously been interested in Chinese culture and said that he “learned new things about Chinese traditional culture” by watching the Shen Yun performance.

“The show as a whole was very beautiful, but above all, I liked the lady with the erhu”, said Mr. Pettersson.
