HSINCHU, Taiwan—Distinguished people in all fields attended the second performance of Shen Yun Performing Arts in Hsinchu on March 20. Chairmen of many technology companies in Hsinchu Science Park, known as ‘Taiwan’s Silicon Valley,’ invited one another to watch the famous show.

Chairman of Lifu Technology Ltd., Huang Kunhao, was invited by his friends to watch the show. After watching the show, Mr. Huang said that the show was marvelous. He appreciated the show a great deal. He had never seen such temperament shown by performers.

“Although I watched Shen Yun Performing Arts for the first time, I felt from the start that the performers’ temperaments are outstanding, as my friend said,‘ This is a distinctive performing company.’ They showed a kind of noble sentiment and spirit. I feel that they’re a group of cultivators who pay much attention to their personal cultivation and morality,” said Mr. Huang.

He said Shen Yun’s programs had unique charms. They were outstanding, vivid, and lively. One of the programs that impressed him the most was Monk Ji Gong Abducts the Bride.

“Ji Gong in the legend has the image of helping and saving people. However, the program started with a wedding scene. I thought this Ji Gong must be different from the one in my mind. But at last, I found that what the story wanted to express was that Ji Gong abducted the bride to enable villagers to avoid a catastrophe, because they did not believe what he said.”

“The choreography completely broke people’s stereotype. It presented a marvelous effect,” he said.

As chairman of a technology company, Huang was amazed by the effects represented by the backdrop. He appreciated the digital backdrop, which combined well with the graceful dances of the performers, and portrayed a wonderful and profound state.
