HSINCHU, Taiwan—Shen Yun Performing Arts performed in Hsinchu, the largest technology city in Taiwan, for the first time. Many celebrities and politicians have attended the shows. Legislator Ker Chien-ming watched the fifth show on the afternoon of March 22. He said that Shen Yun’s show represented unique and dramatic tension, and it’s a great blessing for Hsinchu citizens to have such shows performed in Hsinchu.
Mr. Ker is one of the senior legislators of the Legislative Yuan, Taiwan.
Mr. Ker said during the break that he appreciated the performers’ outstanding dancing skills and their devotion to the performance. He particularly paid attention to every performer’s facial expressions. He found that their facial expression completely fit with the entire drama and dance. He felt it was a perfect combination, worthy of their name Shen Yun, which was very hard to accomplish and rarely seen.
Ker said that Shen Yun successfully combined Chinese culture, Chinese classical dance, and Western musical instruments. Through the dance and the performance of the actors, it was a powerful presentation resulting in a great response from the audience.
Shen Yun travels the world, performing on tour across Europe, North America, Oceania, and Asia. Shen Yun performed in Hsinchu for the first time. “It’s a great blessing for Hsinchu citizens to have such a performance in Hsinchu. I’m sure that everyone here has got the enjoyment in spirituality,” Mr. Ker said.
