DRESDEN, Germany—Beautiful weather, just as if summer had arrived, greets us today in Dresden. The beautiful weather has smiled down upon Dresden over the past two weeks and many locals and visitors could be seen strolling along the banks of the Elbe River.
The Dresden Cultural Palace, called Kulturpalast in German, is located beside the Elbe River, home of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and the most important cultural venue of Saxony state.
It was here on Tuesday, April 14, where Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour was presented to the people of Dresden, a unique portrayal of the millennia-old divinely-inspired Chinese heritage in classical dance and music.
“Here one grows up surrounded by culture, one inhales it every second,” said a Berliner, who grew up there and likes nothing more than to immerse himself in Asian culture.
