DALLAS, Texas—Elected officials from all levels of government sent proclamations to welcome Shen Yun Performing Arts to Dallas earlier this month. Friday, Dec. 17, marks the start of Shen Yun’s 2011 world tour, beginning in Dallas Winspear Opera House.

U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson commended the New York-based performing arts company and wrote that “the richness and diversity of Chinese culture, as reflected and celebrated by Shen Yun Performing Arts, is extraordinary.”
