You know what they say: it’s all fun and games until you get caught.

And with the internet, that’s usually almost instantly.

Hey, I’m Gillian on Buzz60.

Danielle Saxton was arrested for stealing this dress just hours after she posted pictures of it on Facebook.

Kert Williams owns Mortie’s Bourtique in West Frankfurt, Illinois, and posted this on his Facebook page.

“If anyone sees a girl wearing a neon leopard dress walking around and looks pregnant stop her or call me ... They just stole it from our store!”

West Frankfurt is a pretty small town, so it didn’t take long for the dress to pop up in someone’s newsfeed.

Mortie’s Bourtique posted this screenshot of Danielle Saxton’s profile, saying “Not two hours and our stolen dress has shown up on Facebook.”

Apparently, Danielle captioned the photos with “love my new dress.”

The store owner identified Danielle as the pregnant customer he posted about earlier.

Police were called, and Danielle was arrested and charged with retail theft less than $300.

The police report says Danielle also had jewelry, necklaces, and other clothing items that the boutique was missing.

Also, who wore it better: Danielle Saxton, or the Lisa Frank Leopards?
