SAN DIEGO—San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders sent an official greeting to the participants and guests of Shen Yun Performing Arts as the New York-based dance and music company begins a seven-show run at the San Diego Civic Theatre on Dec. 26.
Inspired by the spirit of ancient Chinese culture, Shen Yun brings to life classical Chinese dance and music in a colorful and breath-taking show.
In his greeting, Mayor Sanders states, “We are honored to host this exhilarating show for the fourth time ... Shen Yun has become the number one live performance sensation worldwide and has delighted, dazzled, and inspired audiences in over 100 cities on five continents. Shen Yun with all-new 2010 program is accompanied by an innovative orchestra. Shen Yun, with three separate companies touring simultaneously, will tour of over 30 countries in its new season.
