Recipe: Mint Julep

In time for the Kentucky Derby, executive chef and restaurateur Michael Lomonaco from Center Bar offers his recipe for Mint Julep.

Yield: 1 cocktail 

2 1/2 ounces bourbon
Mint leaves from 4 mint sprigs
2 sugar cubes
Splash of water

1. Muddle mint and sugar well in the bottom of a highball glass to release aroma and oils.04
2. Add bourbon, fill to the top with crushed ice, and stir well until glass frosts; serve.
