An interesting fact about Nepal is its geographical position on the world map. It is one of the smallest countries in the world on horizontal, and the largest vertically. It stretches from just above sea level to the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest to be more specific.

Nepal is a mix of various ethnic Asian groups and major languages: Indo-Aryan, Tibeto-Burman, Mongolian and other indigenous dialects. And of course, we cannot forget the beautiful religions ensemble, mainly Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. Nepal is a living proof of both religious devotion and religion tolerance.

Soul Journey to Nepal

A soul journey can be defined as a guided meditation except that it is interactive and goes on a much deeper level. In a soul journey you can seek a message for spiritual guidance, you can examine the way you relate to others and how well you interact with people in general, discover your life purpose or just get out of your comfort zone and become more open minded.

The best place to visit in Nepal is the lovely city of Kathmandu. After you arrive here and get accommodated at a lovely, charming hotel you can start your sightseeing escape. Start a nice walk along the streets in the vibrant area of Thamel where you can purchase pashmina and cashmere shawls, exotic jewellery, handmade carpets and the finest silver pieces. Don’t miss out the 5th Century Buddhist Swayambunath Stupa where pilgrims climb 365 steps.

Kathmandu is indeed a small paradise because it is full of markets where you can find works of art and cheap souvenirs. If you visit Nepal you will have an extraordinary opportunity to see a truly open and honest country. You will feel a deep cultural impact when meeting the people at close quarters at all levels of society, and trying to understanding their way of life.

This is not luxury travel. So, if you can’t live without flushing toilets, glamorous hotels, punctuality and efficiency then maybe you are not ready for Nepal yet, but if you have an open mind, you want to develop your personal growth, a good sense of humour and value honesty, sincerity and open—heartedness then it will be love at first sight.
