NEW YORK—Death & Co. and Bourgeois Pig partner Ravi DeRossi is looking into opening a restaurant that specializes in Nashville hot chicken. The restaurant is yet to be named.

EV Grieve reported that DeRossi has bought the assets of the former Odessa Cafe and Bar, which closed Aug. 31 at Avenue A in the East Village.

The new eatery’s menu will feature comfort food such as hot chicken, blackened catfish, fried shrimp, and smoked sausage.

The proposed hours of the restaurant will be 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.
