When you get full, what do you do with your leftovers? A lot of people throw them out, but there’s an app that’s trying to change that, it is called Leftover Swap. The app allows you to create a post by adding a picture and details on what you have to offer and share it with the hungriest bider.

Are people really chopping at the bid to the use the app? Many people explain that they will try using the app for the sake of curiosity. But it seems in certain places like the Bakersfield Homeless Centre, they feel they could use the food. They, explain that their clients aren’t typically equipped with smartphones that would have an app. People that run the kitchen are just excellent chefs, and if they get something like that they will either serve that up or make a different meal from it.

This app solves the problem of the food that is produced going to waste, helps in being more social and getting to know people in your community, and allowing people to have  enough food for a healthy lifestyle. The folks, who created this app hope that saving food can in turn save the world.
