SAN JOSE, Calif.—On Friday, April 8, at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company once again presented in the Silicon Valley the splendor and grandeur of classical Chinese culture.

Ancient Chinese culture encompasses values such as compassion, loyalty, and kindness that Shen Yun has set out to revive through classical Chinese dance and music, animated hi-tech backdrops, and hundreds of intricate and colorful handmade costumes.

Among the audience dazzled by the show, was Beverly Zeiss, senior sales director and VP Design for Relevé Unlimited in San Jose. She is also a fashion director for Santana Row, an upscale lifestyle outdoors mall in San Jose, and a director of many special events.

Being involved in a highly specialized field of live fashion shows, Ms. Zeiss professionally judged the quality and uniqueness of the dancers’ costumes. “I loved the costumes, the vibrancy of all the colors and the way everything was put together was magnificent,” she said.

In 1985, Ms. Zeiss created and launched her business, Red Haute and Co., a line of designer handbags and home accessories that were placed in over 70 exclusive specialty stores nationwide.

Ms. Zeiss thoroughly enjoyed the performance. She said, “It was just a beautiful array of incredible color and fabrics.

“The fluidity of all the silks and the way everything was put together was exquisite. Beautiful!” concluded Ms. Zeiss, the Silicon Valley’s top Fashion Show Producer.
