Miranda Lambert leads all artists at the Country Music Association Awards with nine nominations, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
Lambert, a singer-songwriter from Texas, has the most nominations for a female vocalist in the history of the award show, which dates back 43 years.
“I didn’t even think I was eligible for nine categories,” Lambert said in a USA Today report.
Lambert, 27, is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year, and more.
Her smash hit songs “The House That Built Me” and “White Liar” also have several nominations.
Only Alan Jackson had more nominations than Lambert at 10 back in 2002. Merle Haggard was nominated for nine awards in 1970.
Lambert’s fiancee and fellow country singer Blake Shelton has four nominations, including best male vocalist.
Her toughest competition at the awards show comes from the the band Lady Antebellum with five nominations.
