A Minnesota woman is selling her daughter’s car as punishment for bad behavior.

Amy Adams of Almelund, Minnesota, advertised her daughter’s truck on Craigslist after her 15-year-old “decided that her grades don’t matter, that she can disrespect myself and her siblings on a daily basis, and that she has the right to skip school and run away from home.”

Adams placed the ad to Craigslist on April 19, after her daughter blew her “one more chance” when she skipped school on April 18.

“This truck definitely has character” Adams said of the 1998 Dodge Ram, which has over 150,00 miles.

Adams, who holds the title to the vehicle, is selling the “teenage kid’s dream vehicle” for $2,750.

The punishing mother even offered any potential buyers a $300 discount if the future driver of the Ram would regularly travel to her daughters school, North Branch High School.

“Why? Because I AM the World’s Meanest Mom,” explains Adams in the advert, “and would love for her to be reminded every day next year of all of the mistakes she made.”

Adams told KARE 11 out of Minneapolis that she has received over 400 responses to the advert, mostly from parents commending Adam’s parenting efforts.
