VANCOUVER, British Columbia—The Vancouver leg of Shen Yun Peforming Arts 2009 World Tour finished at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Wednesday.

“I’m so impressed,” said Ms. Saare, an accomplished film editor once nominated for a Genie.

“I think it’s the finest thing I’ve ever seen. And the imagination—they use that very nicely. I’m just so envious. I wish that I had the ability to make a film, and I have made films, about 100 of them, but I could never do anything like that, ever. I think it’s magnificent.”

Mr. Haug, a technical director for a major Canadian television channel before retiring, also said that enjoyed the show.

“It was a wonderful performance. It was wonderful, we enjoyed it thoroughly.”

“It was very good,” added his wife, Mrs. Haug.

In February, the couple came to Vancouver for their 55th anniversary.

“We really enjoyed it. I wish there was a DVD or something we could buy,” said Mr. Haug.
