NEW YORK—Renowned cellist Christine Walevska, who has seen Shen Yun Performing Arts three times now, enjoyed the company’s 2011 debut at the Lincoln Center as though it was her first time. Walevska is a master cellist who studied under Gregor Piatigorsky and has performed with the U.S. National Symphony Orchestra. The Shen Yun program, including dances and musical scores, changes every year, letting returning audiences experience a new show each time.

“All of it—every single dance, every single one of them is unique and beautiful and different, and so you just wish it wouldn’t end,” Walevska said.

Walevska was impressed with the company’s creativity. “Every single time it’s just so beautiful,” she said.
