“It is wonderful. ... I lived in China for a couple of years, and I never saw anything like this. And to be honest, I assumed it was sponsored by the Chinese government. But then I saw a lot of things about history, and I know, having lived there, that’s not what China currently is all about. So it is refreshing to see the history is brought to life, when I lived there, I never saw it. I have to come back to the U.S. in order to see it. So I thought that was interesting.”

“It [classical Chinese dance] is beautiful, ... they [the dancers] are very good at what they do and very graceful.”

“The music is beautiful. The orchestra is very, very good.”

“You see Buddhism and you see all these spiritual symbolisms, which you don’t get in China, but you know the history, they were there one time because that’s what made their culture great.”

“Unfortunately, all the culture has been taken away—unfortunately. So it is good to show the world that there is more to China, ... there is a deeper culture than we normally see.”
