Linguini and Clam Sauce

This is one of my favorite meals to make in the summertime. Serve with a nice toss salad and garlic bread and your family will think you were working for hours preparing dinner.

This is one of my favorite meals to make in the summertime. Serve with a nice toss salad and garlic bread and your family will think you were working for hours preparing dinner.

Ingredients
2 6.5 ounce cans minced clams
1 stick of butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 pound linguini
1/2 cup clam juice
1/2 white wine
1/2 cup fresh parmesan
Salt and pepper

Cook pasta according to the package directions. In a large skillet melt butter. Add garlic and parsley and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Turn up stove to a medium heat and add clams with juice, clam juice, and white wine. Cook for additional 5-8 minutes. Toss in pasta and top with parmesan. Serve immediately.
