When life gives you lemons, give them to adorable children [author’s note: hacky, I know, forgive me].
A video collaboration between photographers David Wile and April Maciborka produced this wonderful gem of a film, entitled Pucker. They recorded babies being given a taste of lemons for the first time.
Played in slow motion, we can savour schadenfreude of these babies’ journey of discovery, from some of their excitement of having a new treat, to their mildly tortured sour-face.
Whether it’s the wildly rising prices of limes, or the wildly rising prices of limes forcing lemon replacements in airline beverage services, or this new film, it seems everything is coming up lemons.
