YUANLIN, Taiwan—Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s series at Changhua County Yuanlin Performance Hall came to an end amidst thundering applause on April 17. Legislator Cheng Ju-fen missed the Shen Yun show last year, but she finally got her wish and saw the show this year. Immersed in the performance’s atmosphere, she said, “It’s bliss to see Shen Yun.”
Knowing that Shen Yun is called “the top show of the world,” Cheng Ju-fen said that it deserved the name. “It is indeed very fabulous,” she added.
As Shen Yun displayed the traditional Chinese culture, its meticulous arrangements for every detail of the show, from the design of stage and backdrops to the costumes, music, and dances, moved Ms. Cheng.
Among the classical Chinese dances she enjoyed, she noted, “Shen Yun’s performances were really remarkable. Among others, The Monkey King Outwits Pigsy and Little Mischievous Monks were very entertaining and full of educational values.”
Following an old Chinese saying, “It is much more joyful to share the joy than to enjoy alone,” Cheng Ju-fen invited about a dozen local political and commercial leaders from Changhua area to attend Shen Yun’s third show with her.
