Janet Jackson will kick off her largest world tour yet on Feb. 4 in Manila, Philipppines at the PICC Plenary Hall, the Philippines Star reported.

Jackson, sister of Michael Jackson, will bring 35 hits from her greatest hits compilation album Number Ones to 35 cities around the world.

She will perform music exclusively from the popular CD Number Ones and she will be in venues that allow her to be “up close and personal” with her fans.

“I’ve seen the world, been to many places … the one thing missing was you,“ Jackson said in a statement. ”We’ll be together in Singapore on Feb. 7 and I can’t wait to sing, dance, and be up close and personal with all of you.”

She decided the location after her fans submitted suggestions to her through her official website.

“Your votes are helping me decide where to bring this very intimate, very different show,“ she said. ”It’s not about effects, it’s not an extravaganza, it’s not about being as big as in the past. This one is all about you and me.”

Aside from Philippines, Jackson has revealed Hong Kong as another city she will visit on her tour. She will perform at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre at 8 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2011, Valentine’s Day. The tickets range from HK$480 to HK$1480 ($61.67 to $190.16), according to a promotional poster on her website.

Jackson recently achieved No. 1 iTune status with her performance of “Nothing.”

Tickets for Jackson’s Number Ones, Up Close and Personal tour will go on sale starting Jan. 7, 2011.
