AMSTERDAM, Netherlands—Mr. Hearsing, a human resource manager at a Dutch airline, and his wife watched the final European Shen Yun Performing Arts show at Amsterdam’s well-known RAI Theater, on Sunday, April 19.

Mr. Hearsing was deeply touched by the show and said, “We really enjoyed the show very much. It was the combination of music and dance, and the costumes were very nice. It looked so good, and it’s just the combination [of everything] that makes this show so special.”

This was the first time he had seen New York-based Shen Yun that depicts ancient stories incorporating qualities such as virtue and loyalty.

“Actually, this was all new for me,” saying that he was glad he bought tickets to the show.

“We were approached in a shopping center. They talked about this show, so we bought two tickets. Later, we saw all the articles in the newspapers about the show. Then, we were quite anxious to go.”

One thing he will remember is to make sure that he sees the show again in 2010 when it comes to town.

“The dances were really nice. For example, I remember the Tibetan dance [Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain]. ... It was really impressive. The lights go off, and then there is beautiful music, beautiful costumes, and dances. It’s so overwhelming and really so nice,” he said.
