Summertime is here (whether it feels like it or not) and “I am Coffee” in St. Marks Place, NoHo is selling seasonal iced drinks. The Italian coffee shop was opened in Dec. by Giovanni Finotto and Caterina Musajo Somma, a young couple who studied the history and craft of the bean in Italy, according to Grub Street. They said they hope to emulate Italy’s older coffee culture.

Items on the summer menu include: Shakerato, an Italian classic; On the Rocks, a double shot with ice, cream, and evaporated-cane-sugar syrup; caffè freddo, an Ethiopian-single-origin cold-brew-pour-over hybrid; as well as monthly mixologist recipes such as a chilled pour-over brew that is flavored with star anise, ginger, and apple.
