NEW YORK—Lebanese chef Philippe Massoud opened takeout stand, Ilili Box, close to his Flatiron restaurant on Sept. 18.

It’s a fun spinoff of his restaurant menu, featuring dishes such as duck shawarma sandwich, made with duck, chicken, fig garlic, lettuce and scallions ($14); “Phoenician fries,” made with Sumac salt and aleppo garlic whip ($4); and coconut rice pudding made with mango and lavender ($5).

The kiosk is also serving Korean and Mexican falafels alongside classic ones.
