Eminem received 10 Grammy nominations at the kick-off concert last night while Katy Perry received four nominations.

Katy Perry kicked off the Grammy Nominations Concert with California Gurls last night, receiving four nominations, while Eminem scored a massive ten nominations.

LL Cool J hosted the one-hour event at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles with the major nominations announced live on CBS.

Other nominees included Justin Bieber as Best New Artist, Bruno Mars as Best Male Vocalist, and Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” as Record of the Year.

Along with two nominations for Best Rap Song and one each for Best Rap Solo and Best Rap Album, Eminem was also tipped for Best Album and Best Record, plus a nod for Best Song with Rihanna for “Love the Way You Lie.”

Bieber, who joined the show via satellite from London, was excited to hear about his nomination, saying, “It feels amazing ... I can’t believe I’m in this position! I don’t know what to say!”

The 53rd Grammy Awards ceremony is set to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 13 and will also air live on CBS.
