Among one of the many visitors to this years Divine Performing Arts (DPA) show in San Diego was Cheri Cangelosi, who deals in real estate trading in the Rancho Santa Fe area near San Diego.

“The grace of the women is just unbelievable. Their arms and their fingers and they way they move ... no one else can do that. I was a wanna-be dancer. No one can dance like that, with their grace. They’re in perfect unison all the time. I just think they’re beautiful; the men and the women. And I love to watch their fingers,” she said.

“It’s pure class, it’s pure grace, their movements are just awe-inspiring to watch. The choreography, the scenery and the way they bring the actors down from the screen into the audience is beautiful. Very well directed. Costumes are gorgeous.”

Ms. Cangelosi continued with some comments about the music, “The tenor and the woman were beautiful, the pianist was very good.”

She expressed her views about the show in regards to world views and in relation to her personal views. “Even though it’s a different world view than my world view as a Christian, it’s still a good message, to defend your belief and to stand firm for your belief. I think a lot of it is very universal. And it’s really appropriate for today because you hear a lot about the world bringing you so much stress and struggle right now for every culture, for every country, and for every person.

“They’ve giving a message of hope, to look beyond yourself and to look to the spiritual for help because you’re not going to find it in the world. The message and the beauty take you out of your problems temporarily and puts you in a different place and helps you to focus on the beauty of the people and it brings you together as a culture, and as a world.”

The DPA International Company will one final performance in San Diego on at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28.
